Accelerate Play-In. Discover Your Cymbal’s Full Potential.
Great cymbals develop character over time. For generations, drummers and cymbal makers have recognized that repeated playing and vibration can help cymbals open up, mature, and develop a more complex, expressive voice.
Cymbal Vivo brings that process into your hands.
Designed to produce the sustained vibrations of repeated playing, Cymbal Vivo uses a specially engineered vibration module to transmit continuous controlled mechanical energy directly into your cymbal in a safe and gentle way. This allows you to condition your cymbals without hours of physical playing that may otherwise take years or even decades to achieve.
Whether you're warming up a brand-new cymbal, exploring the potential of a favorite ride, or looking to bring out greater complexity in your sound, Cymbal Vivo offers a new approach to cymbal conditioning.
Accelerated Conditioning — Expose your cymbals to sustained vibration without the need to wait for the cumulative effect of years of playing.
Adjustable Intensity — Fine-tune the vibration to suit each individual cymbal’s primary and natural mode.
Simple Setup — Attaches to your cymbal using a standard cymbal stand.
Hands-Free Operation — Allow your cymbal to vibrate continuously, effectively allowing continued, gentle ‘play’ when you aren’t using the cymbal.
Versatile Application — Explore the conditioning potential of rides, crashes, hi-hats, and other cymbals.
Customized Solution — Cymbal Vivo is made from purpose-designed parts and hand assembled in the USA from Domestic and Imported parts. It is a unique and novel device made especially for cymbals.
The belief that cymbals evolve through playing is deeply rooted in the history of cymbal making. Cymbal Vivo takes inspiration from that tradition and introduces a practical way for drummers to explore the effects of sustained vibration for themselves.
